Our Story


Andrew Stark was a serving member of the Australian Federal Police (AFP) for 21 years. Throughout this time, he developed expertise in several dimensions of security and risk management, including diplomatic protection, counter-insurgency, surveillance and criminal investigations.

Andrew has a proven decision making capacity and ability to deliver outcome-driven results, both operationally and strategically. With outstanding levels of communication, he is able to deliver clear messages to a diverse range of international & multicultural communities. His ability to cultivate and maintain functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders allows him to consistently deliver at exceptional levels.

Acting as Security Adviser, he has consulted to numerous foreign Heads of State including Nelson Mandella, Tony Blair and George W Bush. He spent 6 years as Security Adviser to the Australian Foreign Minister and worked with each Australian Prime Minister dating back to 1990.

Andrew has travelled extensively both domestically and internationally, where he has conducted risk assessments and threat analysis in countries such as Israel, Turkey, the Philippines, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, East Timor and throughout the South Pacific.   

In 2009, Andrew accepted the position of National Security Adviser to the Australian Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and later Australian Prime Minister (PM). During this time, he worked extensively with the Australian National Security Committee and directly advised the Prime Minister concerning security matters of national significance. 

Andrew holds nationally recognised security clearances at several levels.
